Title and Project Description

         Title                                        :    3D Washroom / Toilet Design

         Project Description          :   This project requires the student to create a 3D Model of a washroom or toilet environment using Maya. The aim of this exercise is to demonstrate technical and digital competencies by modeling detailed, realistic elements that would be found in a typical restroom setup. 

 

 

Moodboard and References

I wanted to design a more minimalist washroom design due to myself thinking that it would look very nice in 3D and it would be a much easier option for a beginner such as myself. The color scheme for my bathroom 3D model would be red and white, similar to the second picture, due to my own personal taste.

Reflection

 The first assignment that was given to us, which is to design and model a bathroom using Autodesk Maya, proved to be difficult to a beginner such as me. The difficulties I encountered in this assignment happened due to my unfamiliarity with the tools that were provided in Autodesk Maya. I still had to look up tutorials outside on how to model certain objects, such as the toilet itself. However as I designed each of the objects in the bathroom, I slowly start to be more confident in my own skills to model each object without the need of any help at all. This assignment improved my confidence with each of the tools in Autodesk Maya and proved to be very helpful in my journey with 3D modeling.
